Performance and configuration

Specification

  • The flap on this box opens up to 130 degrees. It has a fully-sprung return which will not damage the mail inside the box

  • We supply composite or uPVC doors, whichever fits your property best. 20mm – 80mm thicknesses are available with panel or midrail options.

  • The white & black finishes are coated with a hardened paint.

  • Gold effect & Chrome electroplated to BSEN 1245

  • Corrosion resistance meets requirements of BSEN 1670:2007 Grade 5 (480 Hours)

  • Zinc alloy casting to BSEN 12844

  • Midrail version includes 2 No. M5 x 50mm machine screws.

  • Panel version includes 2 No. M5 28mm machine screws

  • Flap operation tested to 30,000 cycles. Conforms to BSEN 13724

Finish, care and coordination

Maintenance

We recommend that you regularly clean your hardware and if it has any moving parts, lubricate them at least every 6 months.

When products are used in areas near natural water locations, they may need more frequent cleaning and maintenance to reduce the build-up of corrosive substances on surfaces.
